Enjoyed the commentary (likely from one of the first wave Detroit producers) on keeping a continuity of music trends in mind. At this point in EDM’s evolution with all the genre bending, it appears music is being valued less for its ‘genre’ and more for its use as a tool in the overall production or mixing experience.
